GRIVA’s Historic Preservation Fund identifies and adopts documents of significance in need of conservation. Through the generous donations of GRIVA members and friends, these records are conserved, preserved, protected, and made available to researchers.
Some previous projects to which this fund has aided include restoring stones at St. John’s Cemetery, and conserving maps and documents, such as records of the 1776 Virginia Convention, the Richard Young 1817 map of Richmond, and the John Wood 1819 map of Henrico County, and more!
GRIVA is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult with your tax advisor.
